What's Inside
The Bolognese starts with the beef and builds through a soffritto of onions, carrots, and celery — the classic Italian base that gives a properly made meat sauce its depth and sweetness. Garlic, tomato purée, basil, salt, and black pepper round it out. No shortcuts, no filler protein, no thickeners.
Ingredients: Tomato Puree (tomatoes, salt, citric acid), antibiotic-free ground beef, pasta (wheat), mozzarella, parmesan and cheddar cheeses, onions, carrots, celery, garlic purée, salt, black pepper, basil.
How to Reheat
From frozen: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Remove any outer packaging, keep covered in the foil tray, and bake covered for 45–50 minutes. Uncover for the final 10–15 minutes to develop the golden, bubbling top. Rest 5 minutes before serving — the layers settle and slice much more cleanly after a brief rest.
From thawed (defrost overnight in fridge): Covered at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes, uncover for the final 10 minutes.
Feeds: 3–4 adults as a main course. Pairs with a simple green salad and crusty bread.
