1. Prep the Steaks
Pat the top sirloin steaks dry with a paper towel to help them sear beautifully. Season
both sides generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
2. Fire Up the Grill
Preheat your outdoor grill to high heat. Lightly oil the grates or pan for a crisp sear.
3. Sear to Perfection
Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for about 4–5 minutes per side for medium
doneness. The internal temperature should hit 140°F (60°C). Once cooked, transfer the
steaks to a plate and let them rest.
4. Build the Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt ½ cup of butter. Stir in 4 minced garlic cloves and 2 teaspoons of garlic powder. Let the mixture simmer for 30–60 seconds, just until fragrant (don’t let the garlic brown!).
5. Finish with Flavour
Brush the garlic butter generously over the steaks. Let them rest a few minutes longer to soak in the buttery goodness.
6. Serve and Enjoy!
Slice and serve your sirloin steaks with a drizzle of garlic butter on top. Add a sprinkle of parsley or sea salt for a final flourish.
