Shipping Information

When will I receive my order?
Orders placed Monday through Wednesday will arrive 2 days from the day you place your order.  Orders placed Thursday through Sunday will be delivered the following Tuesday. Please plan accordingly. Once your order is shipped, UPS will send you an email with a tracking number and an expected delivery date. You can verify your delivery date or track your shipment on the UPS website.
While we will make every attempt to adhere to this shipping schedule, holidays and unforeseen circumstances can force exceptions to the shipping and delivery schedule. If you have special delivery requests or you need to request a specific delivery date, please send an email to once you complete your order.
If you live in the Greater Toronto Area, please select your preferred shipment day and an email will be sent to orchestrate date and time for your delivery. You will then be prompted with a question asking if you will be home to receive your shipment. If you are not home, you will be charged an extra $20.00 for a reusable polystyrene cooler with enough reusable ice packs to ensure frozen quality delivery.
What if I am not home to receive my shipment?
You do not have to be home to receive your order. Packages can be left at any exterior door location. Please be sure to refrigerate or freeze the product as soon as possible after delivery. If this is a gift, please alert gift recipients that a perishable gift will be delivered to them and to freeze or refrigerate all products as soon as possible upon delivery.
How is my shipment packaged and what should I do with the product once I receive it?
All Frozen Butcher products are shipped flash frozen and individually vacuum sealed to lock in the natural juices and flavour. They are then packed in a gift box and nestled in a reusable polystyrene cooler with enough reusable ice packs to ensure frozen quality delivery. The container is placed in a heavy-duty corrugated box for an additional layer of protection. This is the best way to ensure that every product is delivered in wholesome condition. Once the product is received, it must be refrigerated or frozen promptly.

If ever the product arrives partially thawed, it is still good as long as product feels cool to the touch, the quality will not be diminished. You can refrigerate if you plan to cook within a few days or refreeze until you are ready to use. Fish and uncooked chicken should not be refrozen. Refrigerate and use within 7 days.
Our guarantee extends only to correctly addressed orders and we cannot guarantee the condition of the package if UPS could not complete the delivery. We guarantee the order will arrive in perfect condition and once delivered, it is important to ensure your items can be properly stored within hours of delivery.

Check your addresses carefully! Beretta Farms reserves the right to make corrections and to limit refunds and replacements if an address error is made. All shipments require a street address (sorry, no PO boxes). Billing customer is responsible to make sure the gift recipient will be available for delivery.
In order to deliver to apartment buildings without a concierge, someone must be home to accept delivery. Residential deliveries are made between 9am and 7pm. Sorry but we do not deliver to P.O. boxes
