A Day in the Life of Cynthia Beretta

“Cynthia Beretta”, I speak of her in the third person because sometimes that is just how I feel about her.  How does any one person hold it all together?  We are all in this same boat, all of us wearing so many hats these days?  I foolishly thought that when email was invented I would have so much more time to get everything done!  Ha!  Our lives have only become more hectic with the advent of 24hour accessibility.  My girlfriend said this about her life the other day, “I don’t have a 9-5 job, I have a when I open my eyes to when I close my eyes”, I think I feel the same way!

My lovely team that I work with at Beretta asked me to document a “Day in the Life of Cynthia”, here is me sharing one day.  Relax and enjoy the ride.

“I would like what follows to be formed in the shape of a Sun with sun beams shining from it.  I will send you my idea!”

5:20am- Wake up, brush teeth, put on Boot Camp clothes and head to workout. (I think I am still asleep through all of this, debatable!)

6:00am- The Lovely Miss Tara whips my butt into gear for 45 minutes.  I have a love/hate relationship with her! Mostly me hating and her loving me!

7:00am- Back home, shower, hair, make-up and dress for what events are happening that day- might be yoga pants and old kitchen shirt for recipe creations/heels for meeting/or jeans and a sweater – my personal favourite!

7:30am-breakfast, my standard is a bowl of oatmeal, 1 Tbsp almond butter and a bit of milk thanks to the Lovely Miss Nichelle Laus, this keeps me remotely full till lunchtime.

7:45-9:00- the most challenging part of my day- driving to the office or into the city for meetings.  I will be one of the first to buy a self-driving car if they ever become a real thing.  Sitting still that long drives me a bit crazy.

9:00am-4:00pm – always a different recipe to my days!  From coaching our Sales Team, meeting with clients, planning with Marketing, bookings with PR, or working on recipes/menus with my Chefs, my days are always new and changing…Just the way I love them.

4:00pm-5:00pm– the lovely drive back to the ranch.  I am usually on calls to make my ride a bit faster and to close off the day.  This way I try to avoid emails and late calls once I get home.  The family gets my full attention this way.

5:00-8:00pm – its dinner time, prepping, cooking and gathering everyone for the farm family dinner.  OR, if Mike’s away, add barn chores to this list… the joys!

8:00-9:30– if I’m lucky to get the remote, I will watch Lidia re-runs on tln.  But mostly I watch hockey/football/soccer with the boys! And Friday and Saturday nights we stream Thomas’ hockey games.  And I have to have my daily cuddles with Ronnie, Fletch, Dolly and Jackie, the family kitties and dogJ

9:30- Bed!  Kisses to my babies (actually grown up kids!) and then my best part of the day, snuggles with hubbyJ

Buona Notte everyone
